Panel has a NVM which means it will save settings.
Sounds like the battery may have gone, when was it last changed?

The battery hasnt been changed since installation 6 years ago.
I stuck a multi meter on it and was well over 12 volts.

Would the kpad not display a battery fault ?

how do i confirm it is battery other then by replacing.

Thanks

If the voltage is about 13v the battery is OK.
They should be changed every 4 years or so.
Have you got the engineers manual?

Hi the battery is the original the panel was installed over 6 years ago .I havn,t got a manual ,i read user manual on line and all led are on constant and no faults in any zones.
I need to try what you suggested first but have been unable to get round my friends house yet.

Is the only way to prove battery by replacement if voltage appears ok.
thanks for your time.
