Old now and may need replacing. Common problem is the keypads locking and the buttons not working when pressed, most often caused by an old battery.

Another problem is the resitor in the charging circuit for the battery. If the battery has not been changed, these do burn-out!

Bell boxes supplied with the original kits do not have a cut off timer, all bell boxes since 1990 have a cut off of 20min or less to meet current regs.
